The floods that hit the southern state of Johore during the Christmas season were so bad that it became world headlines and was reported on CNN and CNBC world news. It was an event that caught everyone by surprise as it was a 100 year flood which means that such magnitude of flood is expected to happen only once in a 100 years.

FGA KL has sent a team of volunteers, over the weekend, with the aid of Crisis Relief Services & Training (CREST) to aid villagers in some of the affected areas. FGA Singapore has also offered aid in some of the efforts. Coordination is ongoing, church members have also been working together in some of the efforts.
